Freetail Brewing Co.
Freetail Brewing Co. took flight in 2008 with the idea that a brewery shouldn’t just make great beer. It should embody the city it calls home. From its label designs to its name, it should be as passionate about supporting its community as it is about kicking out fresh, innovative beers. For Freetail, San Antonio is more than our hometown. My husband and I went out for lunch on a Monday afternoon. We ordered chips with queso and salsa. I tried a flight of IPAs, while my husband enjoyed the BrickTop, which he loved! In my ranking, I placed Man or Mango and West Coast as my top choices, followed by Velocohoptor, with Cornital coming in last. However, all the beers were great! Although we didn't sit on the patio, it's quite large and offers calming views. Recommend!

This is an awesome local brewery with good food and a wide variety of beer. I was very impressed with all of the beers I tried, especially their sour beer! I recommend getting a flight in order to try as many styles as possible. The food was tasty as well, especially the brisket queso. They are kid friendly and have a dedicated kids menu. The outdoor patio area is a nice place to hang out if the weather is good. Service was friendly and our food came out quickly. Overall a great place to visit if you enjoy beer!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We tried the Strawberry rhubarb beer and were pleasantly surprised. We also tried the Freetail BAT sub. It had bacon, Avocado, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. It was absolutely delicious! The pizza, pretzel, and cheesy bread. All of them were fabulous! We will be back!
